cant open CMUD it loads then gives me error

Can anyone help me. I'n running with win7 64 bit
I had done a clean install of win7
I installed Cmud and didn't change any of the installing things.

when I click open to run the program i get an error box right after it starts to convert character that reads

SQL Error: SQL logic error missing database

when i hit continue it pops up again and when i hit continue again it brings up cmud but no session screen
when i click on session another error in cMUD.exe pops up and this time it reads

Access Violation at address 004c90fc in module 'cMUD'.exe
Read of address 0000003c

I have no idea what this mean.. and Im not computer savvy

I have no idea what this means and i have to resort to using cmud on my notebook running vista.
but i really want to be able to run cmud on my win7 desktop so i dont have to have 2 computers open at 1 time :(
can anyone please help??

when i try running as administratar by right clicking cmud icon then run as admin.
it loads to where it converts character then an error saying "there must be at least one field" pops up.
when i hit continue the SQL error thing pops up then

It shouldn't be trying to convert any character database if this is a fresh install. Did you copy over some old CMUD files from your previous computer or something?

When installing CMUD, be sure to select the defaults for the location of the Application Files (Program Files) and Data Files (%DOCUMENTS%). Then check to be sure your My Documents\My Games\CMUD folder is empty, then run CMUD again and it shouldn't be trying to convert anything.

You do not need to use the "Run as Admin" option for CMUD as long as you installed it properly.

Does anything change with helping me solve my issue if im using an alienware desktop
i have Program Files and Program Files (x86)
but ive installed it once in the PF (x86) w/ the default games folder and that had sime issue so i uninstalled deleted all the cmud folders in computer and games and eve start menu. then i installed it in the Program Files and still same issue
i even made a CMUD folder in Program Files and that didnt work either.
still keeps saying the same thing. but the order changes.

OK omg this is dumb i solved the issue
i installed it default for where i want the folder to be but when they ask me about where to install the 2nd part i click in the same folder as cmud. finished install ran it and i was able to get into my mud!
that is so werid...

Yep...it's that second option that needs to be set to the %DOCUMENTS% option. It *should* have been the default choice, so I'll check into that.

it says it cant write in the seession because its read only and i go into tee it is read only but i dunno how to make it so its not read only

like right after in installed it i can do things. but after i closed it the first time im getting this problem.
also i ununstalled it and reinstalled it and its good
and when i close it and open it again same problem
the error is:
Cannot write to session file: C:/program Files(x860)/CMUD/sessions.db
Files marked as Read-Only

That means CMUD is still trying to save Data Files to the C:/Program Files(x86) directory. As I've said, Windows does not allow that.

It sounds like there is just something wrong with the default directory structure on your computer. So reinstall CMUD and choose the following options when installing:

1) When prompted for the location of the application files "Choose Install Location", enter a Destination Folder of "C:\CMUD" (without the quotes of course). Then click Next.
2) When prompted for "Choose User Session files Location", select the second option (Same directory as program files).

Since you installed the program files into C:\CMUD, this will get around any problem that your computer has with the Program Files or My Documents directories.

Because it is a 64 bit system. Just gives 2 default Program File folders for either pure 64-bit applications or those designed for 32-bit (which are compatible).

Hey Zugg master. I did it the way you said with using the C:\CMUD and save files in same folder for 2nd. it seems to be working fine now.

Thanks for your patience for working this through with me.
