Problems with predefined variables (%lastcom) |
Hi, I'm brand new to CMUD and have been running into some trouble with a very simple script to just repeat the last command issued. For some reason, many of my predefined variables just seem to send the last character of the variable name when typed--for example %lastcom sends 'm,' %lastcom2 sends '2,' and %lastinput sends 't.' The only variable I can find that works properly is %char.
Am I doing something stupid here? How can I just resend the last command sent, and what's up with the variables? Thanks for your help! |

Exactly how are you trying to use these variables? If you are simply using "%lastcom" as a command, that is not correct syntax. The proper syntax would be "#send %lastcom". You should not use any function or variable starting with % at the beginning of a line, as a command. The problem you are describing sounds quite odd, but that's the one thing that pops to mind without further information. If that's not the problem, you'll have to show us exactly what you are doing.

Thanks, Rahab--you were right. I was hoping it was something simple on my end. I swear I read through the help for a while looking for this!
