Map snaps to center every time I click |
Couldn't find another topic on this; this has to be the most infuriating issue I have ever encountered with Z/CMUD and I've been a long-time user. Nearly EVERY time I click on a Map, it automatically snaps to Level 0 and "center" map. This is absolutely infuriating as I'm mapping on a MUD that requires a lot of careful room repositioning, so if I'm on L1 or L2 every time I go to click-and-drag in order to select rooms, the Map snaps to the default location, requiring that I scroll back to where I was working every time. It's literally driving me insane. Any possible solution?

I am not able to reproduce this at all. Is anyone else seeing this?
You might try using the Zone/Refresh command to recompute the map boundaries to see if that helps. But I've never seen the mapper change the level of the map unless you click on the buttons for changing levels. |
