Mapper Issues

Hey guys, I just downloaded the beta and am having trouble getting the mapper to work.
The software autoconfigures fine, but no rooms appear on the map when I move around. Help would be appreciated. |

First make sure you're in edit mode (the one with the pencil as opposed to the feet or the cross). Then, if you're in a brand new map with no rooms on it, use the toolbar that appears to create a new room (click the box icon, click somewhere on your map). Set this new room as your current location, leave it so that another room appears, and then delete the blank room you created. Presto!
If your map already has rooms, just set the right room as your current room and start mapping from there. |

Yeah, there is a bug that sometimes prevents CMUD from creating the first room for you. After doing the autoconfigure, create a room manually if it doesn't create one for you (what Fang said :)
