Dir and DirTO on room properties

Ok I dont know what I did, I was trying to see if there was a way to create an exit from the command bar..
and now in my map properties all of my Dir and DirTo fields are blank for everything I've mapped..
Any ideas on how I can get this back with out having to remap the 4000+ rooms that I've already done?

Double clicking on a room to fast walk there dosnt seam to work anymore either even though it is enabled..

Ouch! That's a tough one, you may not have many options.

I guest the first thing you could try is opening up the map in MS Access to examine the fields and make sure they're still there. Off-hand I don't remember the format of the mapper database. Assuming (and hoping) and all that info is still there, you can try to compact the map database. It's not a cure all but can have remarkable effects.

What kinds of things were you trying to create the exit from the command line? This may help give a better idea for solutions.

As a solution to the original problem try the '>' which is a shortcut to create an exit for a room. It's typically used to create non-standard exits. For example
Code:
>enter>e

You can look at Shortcuts and Tricks for more info.

If that doesn't do what you want, you can always harness the power of zMapper.
