3.08 speedwalk problems

I need some help please. I recently had to format my computer for this same problem, and it's coming back to haunt me.

I'm running Vista and CMud Pro 3.08 Beta.

I recently made the decision to upgrade to 3.08 after formatting and reinstalling CMud, I had lots of problems and figure they might be resolved when I compeltely formatted my pc.

When I try to run somewhere either using the map or #walk it turns into 3w5heje instead of w w w ... etc

Before the format of the pc, that's all it would do, I couldn't get it to work period.

now what it's doing is randomly it will convert to those directions in the middle of my session. It started out that it would only happen if i was online for a long time, but it's increasing been getting shorter and shorter, so that I have to restart CMud every hour or else i can't speedwalk.

Anyone have any ideas what's going on here?

the 1 and only change I can think of is I changed my backscroll from 500,000 to 300,000... But I don't know if it started happening before or after that change.

I would look in your settings and try commenting out all your #tele, then seeing if it still happens. #tele in the middle of my speedwalks was causing my directions to stop being interpretted until I restarted cmud. I know your setup so the triggers you have with DE might be causing that to happen when you run through those rooms.

Also, click the Edit Session action for your session and go to the Files/Packages tab and make sure the "English Directions" package is being loaded. Try just typing:

.3n

in your command line and see if it sends "north" to the MUD three times. If this doesn't work (even without the mapper), then something is wrong with your English Directions package.
