is there anyway to lock window sizes so they stay the same when i log back in? ive tried saving and locking the layout, and setting the height and persistant commands with makewindow, but everytime i log back in the windows go back to their default size, these are tabbed windows btw

You might have a corrupted layout file, which can cause all kinds of wierd behavior, including windows that don't load in the same spot.

Try holding the SHIFT key while loading your session, that will fix a corrupted layout file.

Turn on the "Auto-Save layout" option. I was unable to force CMUD to save windows layout manually without that option.

Zugg, is this bug in the bug-list or you need further information on it?
