[3.06] Cannot zoom in and out on the mapper with the mouse wheel (when selected)

Cannot zoom in and out on the mapper with the mouse wheel (when selected) unless I undock the window :(

edit: SORRY this is 3.06, not 3.07, I should have checked properly first sorry, I just assumed I had the latest version because it was a fresh install - I think it's likely I'll have the same problems since it doesn't say fixed in the version history, if it does fix it I'll post back here in an hour or so if not it's still broken ( :( )

I have my mapper docked, and can zoom in and out.

Make sure you have selected the mapping window.

how do I dock it again to doublecheck this again?

when I drag the map window onto the main one nothing happens, and when I right click on the bar for the Map window Hide and Undock are both greyed out, only the one below (Rename...) is not greyed out :/

Make sure you don't have the "Lock Layout" option selected in your Layout menu. I'm not seeing any problem docking or undocking here. Not having any problem zooming the map with the mousewheel here, either docked or undocked.

Honestly, you are posting a lot of really weird "bugs" that nobody else is seeing. It really makes me think that there is something basically wrong with your Windows setup, like having the Windows theme engine disabled or something. Or you are using some old version of Windows? Or you are running some sort of other Windows enhancement software that is interfering with CMUD.

Ah yeah it was locked layout stopping me docking (I turned that on to try fix a problem I had with it not remembering I had the Map window (text one made by the mud showing directions of other characters) and the actual Map open it'd have it undocked and the Map itself closed when I restarted) thanks

No, I have Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit nothing weird honestly, it's all up to date too, not running any theme programs or anything like that hmm. I'm not sure if this is the same thing but I do have my windows style set to classic rather than xp or aero?

Yes, that is exactly it. Setting Vista to "classic" mode turns off the entire Windows theming system. Try setting it to XP or Aero and then see if you have the same problems.

It seems to work after switching to default mode than back to classic again, weird :S thanks, odd though it was 100% not working before that's the only reason I had it undocked, so definitely somethin still weird there... I had the problem on my old version of CMUD on my old PC too but never bothered reporting it here
