For some reason sometimes the map gets "stuck" after zooming, and it won't let me scroll past a certain point (like half the map, the right hand side is totally inaccessible it just stops no matter how much you drag it) - haven't been able to find any fix apart from closing the whole program and re-opening :(

edit: SORRY this is 3.06, not 3.07, I should have checked properly first sorry, I just assumed I had the latest version because it was a fresh install - I think it's likely I'll have the same problems since it doesn't say fixed in the version history, if it does fix it I'll post back here in an hour or so if not it's still broken ( :( )

I was having this problem with certain zones in my map under 3.06, but am no longer having it in 3.08. I'm assuming it's the same problem. To wit: in certain zones, when I enter them, about half the map is visible in the screen. Attempting to drag the map to center it would not work, or if it did, when the mouse is released the map snaps back to the original position.

Again, fixed for me in 3.08. You might post again if you're still having this issue. :)

Try Zone > Refresh from the mapper window

I believe that will reset the zone limits.
