[3.07] Buttons seem to cese functioning when moved to global package |
I created a set of multi state buttons, which worked fine.
Then because I was running multiple characters on the same MUCK I copied the buttons to a global file.
They show up in all my sessions, but they are no longer multi-state, and don't do anything when pushed. Neither do the simple push buttons. |

I cannot replicate this.
From blank session I
1) added temp module
2) added button to untitled window and temp module, both buttons printed testing to untitled window
3) dragged button from untitled window to temp module, both buttons still worked
4) added testing package, added new button to testing package, and new button to untitled window, both buttons still worked
5) dragged button from untitled window to testing package, button still worked for me |

Was it a multi-state button?

Since you said the problem was present with simple push buttons i started there, however I did just perform the test with multi state button, and was unable to get it to fail.

Funny, I got it to fail consistently.

I cannot reproduce this problem either. I followed the procedure that Wyrm gave and it worked fine here.

I updated in another post. It seems that there's some weird little catch I hadn't noticed.
