macro troubles

I updated to the new version of CMUD, and I replaced some existing macros. For some reason, eventhough I saved it, CMUD is still running the old macros. I don't know what the problem is, it might be a bug. I tried quiting and coming back in, but the old macros still existed even when the new ones were still there. Any ideas?

You'll have to explain a bit more. First, what version of Cmud are you running now? What do you mean by 'replaced some existing macros'? Do you mean that you edited them, or created new ones to replace them? What do you mean "the old macros still existed even when the new ones were still there'? Do you mean you have copies of both the new and old ones in your packages? Are these macros in your main session package, or in added packages? There are probably other questions as well, but that will be a start.

I'm running version 3.06 on XP. I'll try to explain a little better. For example:
I had an existing macro that let me do a combination attack on someone else. It was called when I touched the "2" key on the number pad. I deleted the macro, and made a new one, turning the "2" key into a different command, this time so I would travel south when I pressed it. But whenever I press "2" I still have the combo acting instead of south. I don't see why, because I deleted the other one, and created a new one.

you can try to #UNKEY it

or type #KEY to see a list of current macroes

You might have more than one copy of it.

also check that the new macro is set to 'KEY2' and not just 2.

Just moving south should be the defaut in the English Keypad package, unless you removed it
