[3.05 beta] CMUD Crash, main settings and backup corrupted

CMUD started to act really funny. When I would open the triggers window it would show nothing except the main package page. I tried to reopen the main package file and CMUD crashed (report submited). I closed cmud and reopenned it. It connects to the MUD, but it kept saying I was disconnected even though it was connected. Also there was no input line. While offline I changed to the backup pkg file and it was doing the same. I finally had to create a new profile and it's working, but all my settings are lost. Any suggestions?
