Database Rework

I've done a bit of looking and havn't found info on when Zugg is planning to rewrite the database module? I realize there is a lot on the plate right now with 3.x public release eminent, however I am curious as to when the database module will be re written???... When it is re-written, will existing scripts still work with it?

No set timeline, but I believe it's current planned after the public release of TeSSH and the completion of Phase 3 of the mapper.

I can't speak definitively but Zugg always tries to maintain maximum compatability. With that said, we'll probably be move to a SQL engine database so there will be some changes. One thing that some of us have done is SQLite with Lua. You could consider that as an alternative.
