[3.05]Setting up the mapper |
I've tried my hardest to get the mapper working (I had it working earlier, but my old computer burned and CMUD with it). I just can't seem to grab the room descriptions correctly. I'm playing Aardwolf, so I thought it would be simple with all the tags that the game sends if you want.
Not even using #substitute and mxp works...
How would you script it?
Sample room (stripped the colors for simplicity):
Code: |
{rname}The Grand City of Aylor (G)
{coords}0,30,20
{rdesc}
You stand on the edge of the beautiful City of Aylor.
A bright light shines down from the heavens, pouring over you, bathing you
in its warm glow. Everything around you seems rich and pure in color. An
enormous, white temple stands to the north, taking up most of your view.
To reach the Aylorian Academy, you must travel up the large staircase that
stands just off the side of the church. (Type 'UP' to learn how to play the
game.)
Below you are large piles of armor and equipment discarded by other
adventurers.

I wrote the mxp script for aardwolf. In 3.05 you need to turn explictly turn on server mxp in the option section to get it to work.
I also was able to get it to work, by getting rid of the tags for everything but minimap and the coords. And then did a #nomap on those areas. I then reconfigured, and it worked perfectly me at that point. |
