[3.05] and [2.37] #COLOR does not respect the chosen background color.
 
As discussed in this topic, #COLOR does not respected

Set the background color for the session, by going to Options -> Colors -> Default Session. Set a color other than black.

Now try the following bit of code.

#sh <color darkblue>Test this simply</color>
