[3.03a bug] Ctrl-C with Package Editor |
Apologies if this has been reported.
When using the package editor, if something is copied to the clipboard from an external program, subsequent use of Ctrl-C from within the package editor will not replace the text in the clipboard..the text previously copied from the external program will be pasted instead when using Ctrl-V or Paste from the context menu.
If Copy is used from the context menu when within the package editor, the selected text always overwrites any previous text in the clipboard as expected. |

What steps are you using to recreate this? I just copied your post using Ctrl+C, went to my package editor, selected one of my variables, copied the text there, then hit Ctrl+V and it worked without a problem. Do you have any clipboard assistants, like Ditto? What client are you using? I'm assuming Windows, since you said Ctrl+C instead of Apple+C. ;)

That was a good question.
I tried to recreate it with a brand new session and the copy pasting worked as it should.
There must be something in my original session that's doing this.
The bug is solved. |
