Down Arrow doesn't save TAB-completed commands |
Example:
MUD displays:
You enter 'k' (for kill), 'space' and 'w'.
You hit TAB and 'warrior' is TAB-completed.
Now you have in the command line:
And here it comes:
When you press 'DOWN-ARROW', the text 'k warrior' is not saved in command history.
I hope this will be fixed in the 3.xx version.
Will it?
My config:
Windows XP
CMUD 2.37 |

Confirmed. If you don't use tab-complete it is saved. Using tab-complete it is not saved.
I was running into this as well, but I hadn't been able to pin it down to why it sometimes saved, and other times didn't save. Good work debugging it. |

If you type in a blank space (or anything really) after, it starts saving again.

Yes, but the idea was that if the command line text ends with a TAB-completed text, the command is no longer saved.
My post was intended so that Zugg add this to the list of fixies |
