[3.03] Discrepancy between %roomdesc and Room Properties window

Open the untitled session
Open the mapper window
Put the mapper window in Edit mode
Create a new room, and set the current location to the room
In the command line, type: #show %roomdesc(, "Test 1")
In the mapper, open the Room Properties window
The room properties window shows the description "Test 1"
Close the Room Properties window
In the command line, type: #show %roomdesc(, "Test 2")
Open the Room Properties window
The Room Properties window still shows the description as "Test 1"
In the mapper, click somewhere to deselect the room, then select the room again
The Room Properties window now shows the new description "Test 2"
In the Room Properties window, change the description to "Test 3", and save it
In the command line, type: #show %roomdesc()
It still shows the description of "Test 2"
I believe that to get it to update, you have to set the location somewhere else and back again
Changes made on the command line are not noticed by the mapper window, and changes made in the mapper window are not recognized by command line functions, until it is forcibly refreshed by setting it somewhere else and back. |
