Zmud Crash & MUD not working. |
Last night Zmud crashed while I was playing a certain MUD. I thought it might've been the MUD going down, but it is still unable to connect to that MUD today and other friends who play have said it never went down and is running fine.
My other MUDs run fine through Zmud. Any idea how I could resolve this? |

This is bound to reset things, but not likely to fix the actual problems (more likely to be a settings corruption or layout corruption thing):
1)delete the character session icon in the Characters window for the mud you cannot connect to
2)recreate the character session icon, filling in all the appropriate login information. For thoroughness, also attach the old settings file(s) that were associated with that character. The main settings file (assuming you didn't previously change the name) will get auto-associated when you click the Settings button, but I don't know that any inherited settings files will.
3)connect to verify if anything changed.
If Step 3 still doesn't allow you to log in, your settings file is affected and will need to be taken through the Migration Guide. |
