Zmud to Cmud |
I have Zmud on my old laptop however I just got a new laptop that is running Vista, which doesn't work well with Zmud.
My question is...would I need to go and buy a whole new CMUD instead even though I already paid for zmud just cause of Vista? |

zMUD is no longer being developed and is not supported on Vista. It is possible to get it to work on Vista and there are a number of forum posts that help in this regard.
CMUD is a completely new telnet client program that happens to have a high percentage of compatibility with zMUD, it is actively being developed and is supported on Vista. Purchasing CMUD is certainly a recommended course of action but is in no way required or "need"ed.
If you log into the store with the account that you purchased zMUD with and add CMUD to the cart you will see if you are eligible for any discounts. |
