help! i just killed cmud! |
i deleted a class, cmud crashed and i got an error message, i re-opened cmud and now i cant access any of my triggers or aliases. even if i type #var on the command line i get "no variables". also at the same time all my settings reset to default. i can still see everything in the package editor, but cmud acts as if they dont exist.
anyone have any suggestions?

never mind, sorted it. in the package editor the root class was not in the window tree but parallel to it.

Er... if your classes or other stuff have managed to get out of their windows and modules and into the root of a package, your packages are screwed up. Anything that isn't a window or module should always be inside a window or module.

the class tree which includes 0, alt_list and spells where on the same level as untitled rather than their current position. i was able to drag them back to their current position and everything worked fine.
i tried to recreate it by dragging everything back, so i could make an image, but it wouldnt let me. at least it wasnt my bad with the mouse... must have been something to do with the crash.

Mmm, that's exactly what I was talking about. You might want to try exporting all your settings to XML and re-importing them to make sure it really is fixed.
If this sort of thing happens, we really need the crash dump. You can save them to .txt files and post them to the forums if the automatic upload doesn't work. |

Btw, class folder names need to start with a alphabetic character. Having a class name of '0' is a bad idea and might cause various weird problems.
