spellchecker keyboard shortcut?

Sometimes when I try to use a macro with f7 key, the spellchecker (though disabled in preferences) pops up... kinda annoying when i'd like to use a macro and press f7 - not get a dictionary making suggestions and try to correct what I typed.

Can i shut that off? It goes away on its own and lets me use f7 key sometimes then pop ups again at random times

Make sure the Package Editor window doesn't currently have the keyboard focus. When the package editor has focus, then it's menu shortcut keys (like F7 for spellcheck) will override any macros. Your macros only have priority when the MUD window has the keyboard focus.

You'll need to post more details on exactly what other windows you have open and what your screen layout looks like. F7 isn't used for any spellchecking outside of the package editor. So this bug doesn't make any sense to me at all, and I can't reproduce it. Are you sure the package editor isn't still hiding in the background somewhere?

I have this exact problem. I have a status window (docked on the right edge) and my main output window and input bar on bottom. Package Editor is closed. I am using CMUD 2.37 - I opened and closed package editor to ensure I was not accidentally hiding it in the background. If there's anything else I can do to help troubleshoot this, please let me know.
