#OK not sending to map window |
Have a trigger for a line on my mud, basic #TRIG {You see exits} {#OK}. If I type #OK on the command line. %walkconfirm returns 1.
However, the mapper is not accepting the #OK. I still see a direction in the queue (typically the last one).
#NODIR works fine, the queued direction is removed. |

okay, I think what is getting me is the saving issue. though I swear I had saved changes to an old map config they didn't appear to actually save.

Map configuration changes are saved to a *.ZFG file in the same directory as the *.DBM map database. Check to see if this file is getting saved and that you have proper file access to the directory it is trying to save. You didn't mention what version of Windows you are using, but it sounds like it might be a Vista file permission issue. Make sure you are not storing any data files in the "Program Files" directory on Windows.
As far as the #OK command, I'm having trouble reproducing that problem. When using Safe speedwalking it seems to work ok for me here. Can anyone else reproduce this?
Edited: Oh, and keep in mind that the current mapper isn't properly saving the Speedwalk mode, so it will always revert to Fast mode when you start CMUD. |

Yeah, despite trying to save the config as a new file with a new name, it wouldn't save. I'm using Vista and my files are in my Documents\My Games\CMUD subfolders.
And I think once again that I'm back to sometimes having the problem I edited before. If the prompt is detected properly, everything works fine. It's when the prompt is not detected properly (due to input from mud, improper prompt format entered) that this seems to happen. What happens is that the first move will be made, but on the mapper I can still see the direction I just input as being in the queue. Typing #OK did not clear it.
Maybe in the morning I'll attempt to reproduce. |
