[SOLVED] [3.01-3.02] Missing: Shortname

Shortnames editing is missing from properties in the mapper... however if they're already in the map they work.

Should upgrade to 3.02 Beta. Sometimes things get fixed inadvertantly in upgrades, and it's always nice to know if the bug exists in the newest Beta.

I need more exact details on what isn't working. The "shortname" field for a room is located on the main page of the Room Properties in the upper-right part of the window (just above the new Compass area). You should be able to edit this field just like any other field. But yes, it was moved onto the main page from where it used to be in the "Other" properties page to make it easier to view/edit the short name of a room.

Ooh... then it's not missing, I just missed it.
Not used to the new layout I guess, oversight on my half.

Always remember to look at the help text that is displayed in the status bar at the bottom of windows when you mouse-over various fields. That's the standard way of providing longer mouse-over tips and is used everywhere in CMUD to provide more help on various fields.

And yes, I'll be sure to document this in the new mapper documentation.
