[2.37] 'Disappearing' variable contents

This is a common phenomenon that I've been having. I would have a string list stored in a variable and I would be running a script...I could not touch the keyboard for 15 minutes and everything is fine...then sometimes randomly the contents of the string variable just simply disappears and clears and then the script continues on doing something like 'transfer all from blah to blah' (there should be a string list variable between all and from). I can't seem to forcefully recreate it but it only occurs in instances where I'm using %pop to modify the variable to extract a value. I'll turn on script debugging and log it and try to catch it. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

transfer all from 1 to gems
You didn't transfer anything.
[^You didn't transfer anything.-> #GAG] !!!===(repeated 1-100, not quoting here.)
amal gems
You start concentrating on the skill.
[^You start concentrating on the skill.$-> #var skillspellstatus {1}

You are using 'amalgamate' at 'in gems'.
[^You are using ({~'(%2)~'|~'(%3)~' at ~'%4'}).$-> #var skillorspell {Skill:}
#var skillspellname {%1}
#if (%3 != "") {#var tactical {%3}}
#if (%2 != "") {#var tactical {%2}}]
zz
You break your skill attempt.

Code:

Variable: + mined             (String)

===end
Things to notice...spaces between 'all from' and 'amal gems' where there should be a variable
Also bench is set to gems from the previous material 'carnelian' which fit into the gems category.
This is about as much info as I can provide.

Have you searched your other scripts to see if anything else is accessing the @tempmat or @mined variables?

If would be useful if you could catch this happening with the script debugger open. Also, turn on the message option in the script debugger window
to display any changes to variables. Then you might be able to see exactly which script is clearing the @tempmap or @mined variables.

Absolutely nothing accessing them other than what I have shown you. I just coded them today.I'll test this again tomorrow night.
I suspect further that it is a bug because it still happens after that reinstall. I'll try it with the script debugger though and get back to you.

Unless you delete every file associated with CMUD after uninstalling it, you're not doing anything to get rid of CMUD files. Your sessions
will still be there, as well as your settings. The best thing to do is to actually test this in a blank session (start CMUD, then escape to untilted).
Then see if it still does the same.
