Text color in log goes black? |
So I was trying to g through one of my logs and found out that about halfway through the default color goes from gray to black, for no explicable reason.
This first one is the first part of the log:
This is the same log, but later on:
This is the same piece from the second half of the log, but I copied and pasted it into another tab, saved as .html and then reopened as a .html

Using ANSI logging? This is what happens to MXP-coloured lines in ANSI logs, IIRC.

How large is the HTML log file? My guess is that this is another one of those problems with the 3rd party HTML editor component used in CMUD when handling large files. Try opening the original log file in some other HTML viewer and see if the problem is with the file itself or with the viewer.

Yeah, seems to be a problem with the 3rd party editor

This may be connected somehow to a problem I posted before. Or it may be the same problem.

Well, I think this is as Zugg said, a problem with the 3rd party software. It's not actually logging the default as black, because when I copy and paste it elsewhere it shows up just fine when saved as html. Something in the 3rd party software is corrupting for some reason and displaying the default as black when it's gray.

What about "Tick" and "timer" messages?
Do you use ANSI codes for them or custom color? Do you see them in your log?
Can you post your html log (or a part of it) in text format (so we could see the actual html tags)? |
