multiple session windows |
When I open a second session, all packages associated with that session and with the one I have open, are automatically set to be enabled for each other.
This seems quite unintuitive, since I assume that the majority of time that people want multiple sessions open is when connecting to separate muds? |

I agree with that, and even when on a mud with allowed multiplay at once (cite 2005's Caer Dubrin, and 2001's Eternal Darkness for starters) you may want each character to have unique settings. I used this on 2k1'sED in cases where I had 2 characters running my Healer Bot And I wanted a way to segregate them so that both wouldn't fire off the same bot triggers. Thus I had the exact same script on each, with the trigger keywords prepended with the character's initial.
For example (spell remove poison):
Ralgith: rrp
Erian: erp
Alyssa: arp
I'm sure what I mean is clear. In this case, I wouldn't want Erian's healer bot on Ralgith, nor on Alyssa. |
