problem

I just started playing last night, and I did something that made the black input screen disappear and i can't get it back. I was on Arctic server when I was making my character.

1)click on the Preferences button
2)click on the General Preferences, and navigate to the User Interface section (it's the first one in General, so you're probably already there)
3)make sure the MUD Output checkbox is checked (left side, lower section)
4)click apply/ok to save changes, and your window and game text should come back. Not sure if you need to restart your connection or not, so try that if nothing changes.
If the above option doesn't fix your problem, something got corrupted. In that case, check out the Migration Guide for your settings files and delete your associated .lay file to reset your layout. You will have to recreate and resave the layout. |
