Mapper not linked to session?

Ok, I'm using Cmud 2.35 and running into some problems with the mapper.

First I thought it was the configuration, because for some reason it won't detect my exit-prompt. No matter what i do.

Generally the mud-response is like:

* HP:Healthy MV:Full > w
Reception Room
[ obvious exits: N E S W ]
A member of the Imperial Deathwatch Guard glares at you with hatred.
The Deathwatch Guard has murder in his eyes.
The Deathwatch Guard has murder in his eyes.
The Deathwatch Guard has murder in his eyes.
The Deathwatch Guard has murder in his eyes.
The Deathwatch Guard has murder in his eyes.
A so'jhin passively kneels, awaiting her master's command.
A so'jhin passively kneels, awaiting her master's command.
A tall man with a shaved head looks about with mild contempt.
A sleek well-trained torm has arrived from the east.

(with descriptions off).

Now, in zmud, it detects the exits just fine when trying automatic configuration. However, no such luck in CMUD.

So after trying it manually and opening new maps and whatnot I decided to try making a configuration file in ZMUD (with the same map etc) and then import it into cmud. Did that. The configuration works fine in Zmud, and the mapper follows along nicely in fast-mode.

However, import it into cmud and it won't follow. Commands such as #move east also don't do anything with regards to moving the pointer of the mapper, which gives me the feeling that although the mapper is loaded, it just isn't connected to the window or something.

ANyone got any advice? I'm completely running out o f ideas on how t o fix this.

Thnx in advance,

Do you have more than one session open? More than one window open? Maybe the text from the MUD is not coming down your main session window?

You checked you don't have any invisible windows? Check the Window menu; check the Package Editor...

Possibly related...noticced that .nsew etc doesn't work (it tries to send it to the MUD as a command). ANd when I select on the map to speedwalk to somewhere it does nothing.

Do you have the English Keypad and English Direction packages in your session? They should be there by default?

In the main Sessions window, click the Edit Session action and go to the Package Files tab. Make sure the English Directions and English Keypad packages are loaded for your session. The English Directions package is needed for speedwalking to work.
