[2.30] Layout not staying how I put it

Two issues:
1) Layout changes even though I explicitly save it when I have it right.
2) Mapper isn't opening each time, I open it and place it but then it doesn't auto-open the next time.
Settings:
Checked - Layout -> Auto Save Layout
Unchecked - Layout -> Lock Layout
I do a Layout -> Save Session Layout, but that isn't keeping the settings around. I tried holding down shift when double-clicking the session to have it regenerate it, but that didn't work either.
Any ideas? |

Well I couldn't figure it out so I just renamed the directory and clean installed. I don't have the issue anymore and I didn't figure out why it occurred.
