Request for next version...

This is probably going to be way down on the 'wish list' for CMUD, but I'm requesting it anyway.

When my mapper opens, I tend to remove all the toolbars and the menu toolbar, I remove all options and place it on the side. However, restarting CMUD, the toolbars pop back up with nothing saved at all. This even happens to the buttons at the top in the main session.

If it's a 3rd party program deal, then I guess not much can be done. I know that #SAVE doesn't do anything for it, and if there is no way, I guess I'll have to live with it. Just a thought, though.

I believe it has been said before that the reason for this is that the mapper was brought over to cmud without any changes. That means it was never made to work with the cmud layout routines, among many other things. I think Zugg has already said this will be corrected with the new mapper design.

It's not just the mapper itself, though. The session buttons (Session, Library, Settings, et al) do not save, either. *shrug* But that may be right, as far as the map goes. Guess we'll see.

I'll second this, I dock the mapper and make it small so I only keep the icons I don't have macro'd such as the zooms, it's a real annoyance to have to restore this layout every time i load cmud.

The main toolbar session buttons *do* save (and so does changes to the main menu). They are saved in the *.tbz file (toolbarz) that is saved at the same time as the *.xly window layout. If they are not saving with your session, then your layout files are corrupted.

The toolbar, menu, and window layout for the Settings Editor is saved to settings.tbz and settings.xly files.

You are correct that the mapper does not currently save the toolbar or menu and that is planned for the new mapper, but probably not in the first beta version.
