Status bar - Status Window %format discrepancy |
I am not sure if this has always been the case as I never bothered to use %format on the status bar until recently. However, formated lines shift themselves on the status bar, where as they work the way they are expected to in the status window.
The following code is an example of what I use.
Code: |
%ansi(bold,black,white)Target: %ansi(bold,red,white)%format("&-15s", @target)%ansi(bold,black,white) Target2: %ansi(bold,blue,white)%format("&-15s", @target2)%ansi(bold,black,white)Target3:%format("&-15s", @target3) |
In the status window this text holds stationary with the correct spacing, no matter the character length of the variable contents.
On the status bar, however, the text shifts left and right depending on the character length of the variable contents. |

The bar doesn't use a fixed-width font.

Actually I have used the following in a status window successfuly:
Code: |
<font fixedsys 9>...........</font>
|
Though it seems to ignore the fontsize, it will display the text using the FixedSys font, which is monospace. One should note that in this font bold glyphs have a larger width than the normal ones. |
