Bug in 2.29 with colons? |
CMUD refuses to send any text with a number of alpha chars preceeding a colon and then followed by a space and more character:
Name: Asandria
doesnt work, neither does:

Your colon character is default for "focus." What does this mean?
CMUD looks for a window preceding the : (in your first example, Name) and sends the command after the colon (again, first example, Asandria). Since you don't have a window called "Name" it appears that CMUD is doing nothing.
If you don't use focus on anything (i.e. sending commands to another window from your main output) I suggest disabling the focus character under special characters.

Or changing it to something else you're not going to use that way.

Hmm, but I've never had the problem before. Maybe I just had parsing turned off, thanks.

Actually, this *is* a bug in the smart command line processing. If the text before the : isn't a valid window name, then it is supposed to send it to the mud verbatim. I've added this to the bug list.
