#ALARM question

I'm using an alarm to automatically fire every so often. My questions follow:

#ALARM {-12:00:00} will fire every 12 hours, right?

and

#ALARM {-01:00:00:00} will fire every 24 hours, right?

If I'm incorrect, how could I go about doing it correctly, then?

More specifically, since I know this relies on connection time, how would I go about doing it based off real-time?

I think the counter only goes up to hours. For every 24 hours connected, you'd want -24:00:00. For going off real-time, you can have your alarm go off at a specific time each day just by sticking the time you want it to go off in there, like 00:00:00 for midnight each day.
