Weird crash upon startup |
It's a funny crash cuz I can uninstall, reinstall and run zmud and it opens just fine. But then when I close it out and I try and open it up from its short cut it crashes and gives me the error....
Error: Access violation at 0x77713118 (tried to write to 0x00EE0F4), program terminated.
Running this on a new laptop from wal-mart with vista home prem. My first vista machine.... |

Temporary solution that worked for me... I'm not terribly sure if it is both of these together or one by itself.
Goto the Zmud folder, Find every application file there is (yes, all of them), right click on each, select properties, check to Set Compatibility to windows xp SP 2, then check to run as an Administrator.
If you do this for all of the application files, you should find you have no problem running the program.
I've had to do this on both my pc's that run vista in order to play w/ Zmud. |
