Named Tabs Problem in CMUD 2.25

I'm running version 2.25 of CMUD with Windows Vista - Pemium Home Edition

When I log into my main character for the mud, everything is fine - the title of the window is set correctly to the character's name.

When I try and log in a 2nd character - there are multiple problems

1. The 2nd character opens in a new window that is floating (not tabbed) and doesn't have focus - the only way you can get to it is to go to the window menu and select it from the list.

2. The 2nd character's window is named the same as the first character. So both windows have the same name. I can drag the newly opened 2nd window to the top and it will create a tab for it, but it is the same name. If I rename it, it works fine until I log out - then it is back to being the same as the first when I log back in. In the session window (what first pops up when you start CMUD) - i checked the session properties and they are named correctly there - just not when they are started.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I would highly recommend you use separate sessions for separate characters. It sounds like you're opening the same session twice, and that's what's known as a "very bad idea."

You are absoluetly correct - after I little more digging and reading through help files, I identified the problem as being 100% user error.

I've since created separate sessions for each character and things seem to be working fine. Thanks!
