emailing?

is there a good way to email? IE, sending to specific account, subject and body of the email?

also... i saw someplace that it was possible to open up and read email from within cmud, is it possible to act upon the body of the email? ie i can send an email to myself telling myself to logoff, and it would log me off based upon what was in the email.

tia!

Yes, via COM. Your email client needs to support COM, and then you need to look up its COM interface and find out how to send emails with it, and then do it from within CMUD. There's lots of info on COM and how to use it here (scroll down), but you'll have to find out the interface for your client yourself.

Hey Dharkael, I used that from my old zmud as well. Worked... Most of the time. Not sure if it was my client, the process, or perhaps the email server (I used my gmail account) but it wasn't 100%. But that is what spawned my question in cmud, lol! I'll continue my research into the COM... TIA! =D
