[2.24] Error when closing package tab while viewing XML |
This procedure seems to work most of the time to generate an error, but once it didn't actually happen.
1. Start CMUD and close the Sessions window.
2. Click on the 'Settings' button to open the Package Editor for the 'untitled' session's settings.
3. In Package Editor: File-->Open... and open another package (like default.pkg).
4. At this point, the tab for "Default Settings" should be active. Click on the 'XML' tab near the bottom of the window to show the XML.
5. Click on the 'X' to close the currently active package tab (not the main X to close the Package Editor).
6. Result: Error window pops up that says:
Error in cMUDPro.exe
Error saving data in background - UPDATE settings SET
userval='{CE5BA6D1-0544-432F-B227-2ECBAA3FCAFB}' WHERE id = 0
SQL Error: database is locked.
7. Clicking to continue the application from the error window will bring you back to the Package Editor with the same tab still open. Clicking the 'X' to close that tab again seems to close it as normal.
Edit: BTW, I'm really excited about this public release |

I just tried this in 2.25 and it worked, so it was probably fixed. Try it again to be sure.

I got an email reply from Zugg about this issue. Basically it turns out that the Default settings was open twice - once inherently as can be displayed by going to View-->Show Default packages, and once again after I opened the Default package explicitly.
He commented that it worked ok for him as well, but he might do something later to prevent the same package being loaded multiple times. |
