What language?

What language is CMUD? I see java, lua, ect ect... But, I'm curious about the main programming language. Reason I am asking, is I want to use SharePoint Designer, but need to know the syntax highlighting and what not. This make sense? I haven't had any coffee yet... And I might've confused myself. LoL! TIA!

The main scripting language is a custom language called zScript. The version of it used in CMUD is sometimes referred to (unofficially) as cScript, because it's a bit stricter than zMUD about some things. You won't find a lexer for it for other programs, because the highlighting in CMUD itself uses CMUD's script parser. There's no easy way to make that into a lexer.

However, CMUD's own editor has plenty of features and is fine for most purposes. What does SharePoint have that's so exciting?

Well, there IS a lexer, the problem is that it's written in Delphi, internal to CMud, and not available to the public.

Besides that, the major problem people run into when they use an external editor is that they try and write a whole script at once and then insert it into their system, causing...difficulties.

Nothing exciting with SharePoint, other then thats open 24/7 and I'm always in it. And its what I'm used to. I can write something up to do custom highlighting and what not, but within sharepoint, there is a nice lil dropdown box that gives you the next available command. And while I know some about zmud/cmud, I by no means know it well enough to write that all up.

I just like to work on my files while not connected at work. *shrug* Just try'n to be more efficient, while working less and less. LoL! Thanks all!
