Zugg and Chiara will be out of town this week |
Tomorrow we are going to Texas for Chiara's sister's wedding. We will be gone until next Monday. We won't be answering email or forum posts much until then. I hope to take my new laptop with me, and I hope to have good Internet access, but I'll probably be spending most of my spare time just trying to get Delphi working on the new laptop.
Anyway, please use the Forums for questions/answers. I trust the Gurus to take care of things while we are gone. |

We are back from the wedding in Austin. Typical annoyances of air-travel. American Airlines is doing a pretty poor job these days, and I need to remind myself why I don't ever like to fly through Dallas-FtWorth airport. Even though American grounded their entire fleet of planes a couple of weeks ago for inspection, we had two flights delayed over an hour because of mechanical issues. Our initial flight leaving Colorado was delayed almost 2 hours because they had to get a new plane in Dallas and fly it to Colorado. Fortunately there was another connecting flight to Austin just a bit later and we didn't have any big family events that night to worry about.
Coming home, the flight leaving Austin was also delayed for an hour and a half while they got a different plane to fly in from Dallas. This time we were able to run to our connecting gate in Dallas and make the connecting flight, with only about 4 minutes to spare. The only good part about it was that I was expecting our luggage to not make the connection, but it did. This was very fortunate because we were arriving back in Colorado at about 10pm and the American luggage handling office was already closed, so I don't know who we would have talked to if our luggage had been lost.
Anyway, air travel continues to get worse and worse in the country. But we made it back safely. Today we'll be spending most of the day answering email, so thanks for your patience while we were gone. |
