Text File Uploading |
This is a feature that a lot of people on the forums for DSL were not able to say either yes or no on. In simpleMU, I could ctrl + Q and get:
I could select the text file, and when I hit ok, simpleMU would go through the text file and feed it to the MUD line by line. The most important thing was that is sent hard carriage returns, and even did empty lines. So I could write a note or a desc in notepad, and then upload it via that function and not have to work about copying or pasting and it didn't ever exceed the MUDs max buffer because it sent each line like it's own individual send.
Is there something like this in CMUD? |

Press Ctrl+Shift+Enter to open the editor. Open your file. You now have a few options for sending the file - you can send the whole file, a selection or the current line only. You can optionally send line-by-line and with blank lines. You can optionally have CMUD parse the text before it's sent. Go wild.
Anything they can do, CMUD can do better (and probably has done for longer) :P
EDIT: Also, you said CMUD but posted in the zMUD forum. Wrong section or wrong letter? |
