Connection problems

I seem to be having a problem connecting to any muds using Cmud. At first I thought maybe I was having some port problems, but I can connect through telnet. I am trying to connect to realmsofdespair.com, port 4000, but I have also tried various other muds, and am getting the same message "host unreachable" Cmud is on the white list for my firewall, so I have no idea whats causing it not to run. My setup is windows xp sp2, and I am running windows live one care. If anyone can help me out, please let me know.

Check your Windows firewall settings. Check to see if LiveCare has CMUD on all of it's approved lists.
Is this a new problem?
You can be a bit more aggressive and disable the firewall, live care for only a brief period just to see if either of those are the culprit. |

It is on the approved lists, and I have tried to disable the firewall and the anti virus to see if this is the problem. Still nothing. I've also tried some things with the router but I'm still at a loss. Haven't played or used Zmud for a few years, but don't remember ever having a problem with connecting.
