Extra tab in session

Somehow I got an extra tab associated with one of my sessions. When I log on to character X, the name of character Y appears at the top, and when I open the package editor there are tabs for "All", "X", and "Y". How can I get the "Y" tab disassociated with character X? I only want tabs "All" and "X" to load. Sorry that I am not familiar with the correct terminology. I hope this makes sense.

Anyone? This annoyance has kept me from playing for months. Is there some clarification or additional info needed? Help! Please!

You should be able to simply remove the second package using the edit menu.

On the session window highlight the session that has two tabs in it.
Click edit.
Click on the packages tab.
Highlight the package that goes to the unwanted tab. This is probably named the same as your other session.
Click the minus sign.
Save the session.

All should be well!
