Saving triggers in sub-windows

For some reason, I can't get Zmud to save triggers or other events that I add to sub windows. Any trick to this?

The sub-windows, when I close zmud and restart it later, don't have any of the triggers or anything else I have added to them...

If I understand you correctly that "sub-windows" are separate child windows from the main window, thats what you have to do.

Click on the window with mouse, choose settings. Then you can add everything you need to just as you do within main window.

While still having the "focus" on child window, choose Save As and unless your child window isn't named yet, do it and hit Save.

Also once you've set up all the windows you need, Save Layout and Lock Layout aren't bad things to use, that way ZMud will
recall the layout settings next time you start the program up.

Generally, you'll end up having several .mud files. There's the main one for your main window, and named other ones that are
the sub-windows or however you see fit to call them.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. Works excellent.

I still can't get one thing to work correctly, but it's just a little annoyance.

I have one window which is suppose to be "always on top" but every time I start zmud, I have to reset it. Even with locking the layout, it still doesn't seem to work. Any ideas on that?

Sadly this is one of those grin and bare it type deals. Always on top never quite worked right in Zmud and still has some quirks in Cmud. Hopefully that will be squished soon with the new components Zugg is going to use in the next Cmud build. Sadly Zmud is feature complete so will not be getting fixed even if Zugg is successful in Cmud.

Well, no big deal then. All else is working well. It stays on top when reset so it still works.
