ZMUD: AUTO-COMPLETE |
I know that SHIFT + TAB is assigned for autocomplete, and TAB is to autocomplete aliases,
but I want to switch the two--TAB for autocomplete for regular words captured in screen,
and SHIFT+TAB for alias autocomplete.
Is this possible? |

In short: No.
In long: There may be a way, but it'll require some extremely complex scripting and probably won't be worth the effort.
The way it actually works is that tab autocompletes using only your dictionary of tab completion words, which by default includes all your aliases, and shift-tab searches both your dictionary and the output window.
This behaviour has changed slightly in CMUD - you may find upgrading useful in this case. |

How will upgrading to CMUD help?

In CMUD, Tab searches the Output Window and the dictionary. Shift+Tab searches only the output window.

But I bought ZMUD, I don't want to buy CMUD too! What's the point; plus Zmud has better ratings than Cmud!
I wish Zugg would just answer me :) |

zMUD is feature complete now and probably won't be updated again, so it's not going to change now. Like I said, it's not possible to change the shortcut. You could possibly script something that will do it (Vijilante has done something with the tab completion in CMUD in his toolbox which might be reproducible in zMUD) but it'll be a very complex affair. Zugg's answer would be exactly the same.
