Input bar

I am having a problem with Cmud. I just got it today, When I type in the input bar (where you type the comands that go to the mud), the focus will jump up to the window (where you see the muds text output) and I find myself typing in the window. I am not sure if I am explaining this correctly but say I am typing

"the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog"

"the quick brown fox" will be in the input field
"jumps over the lazy dog" the window where the mud output appears.

this is annoying when I am trying to do stuff. Is there a way to stop this. Also I might mention that when i activate the window the focus is always in the mud output window never on the input bar.

That's strange; you shouldn't be able to type in the output window. Which version of CMUD are you using? Which version of Windows?

Make sure that character mode is off - it's in Preferences->Session->Emulation.
