This won't be changed. There are a number of ways to display your #PW password once you have opened a session. CMUD doesn't attempt to completely secure your password once you have opened a session. If you want a more secure session, you can go to the Character tag in the Edit Session and click the "Prompt for password to access this character". When that is selected then you have to enter your password to open the session, and the password stored in the sessionkeys.db file is *very* secure.
But once you have a session opened, CMUD pretty much assumes that you are the rightful owner of the session and doesn't worry about protecting the #PW value. If you have the debugger window open, CMUD assumes that you are debugging and want to see ALL of the text sent to/from the MUD. |
