OK, Zugg has left the building |
OK, Chiara and I are going to start our holiday break now. Thanks for all of the help with the beta testing. I hope v2.18 works well for everyone.
I have updated the rest of the site to show 2.18 as the official public version of CMUD, and I have updated the server so that using the "Check for New Version" in CMUD will report 2.18 as the latest version.
This means that we will probably get a bunch of 1.34 users upgrading to 2.18 over in the main CMUD forum over the next few days. Do what you can to help them out if you can. I think everyone has done a really good job with testing these past few versions, but it's possible there are still some lingering issues.
But I've got to get out of this office before I go crazy. I've been in this "infinite loop" of:
1) Read forums
2) Fix bugs
3) Release new version
4) Goto (1)
for several weeks now and I'm completely burned out. Hopefully I'll come back from the holiday break refreshed and ready to tackle CMUD again.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! |

I'm really not surprised that you're feeling burnt out - two months of fairly manic work getting 2.0 done, then another four of perpetual manic bugfixing would do that to anyone. Have a nice trip to whereever you'll be spending Christmas, even if it's just the sofa ;)

Actually, yes, the sofa is our favorite Christmas destination!
Thanks all! |
