Disabled Classes and speed |
I'm using one main package which I use for all my different characters for my mud. The triggers,macros.... for each character is stored in their respective class. My question is does this affect performance (mainly trigger performace)? Does CMUD iterate through all the triggers even when the classes which holds them are disabled?

When a class is disabled then CMUD shouldn't check what's inside so you should find things are a bit quicker the more classes are disabled

CMud actually still does some checking, it has to determine that the setting is disabled. My speed tests with the current beta show this to be very quick, but it is faster still if you can arrange your packages and sessions to minimize the triggers loaded.
