ETA changes for v2.15 |
Yesterday I came down with a cold. I had hoped that it would get better overnight, but it didn't. I'm working a bit earlier than normal this morning so that I can get as much done as I can before my brain gets stupid.
So, what I'm planning is that I'll probably release v2.15 as RC3 later today (Thursday) and let people mess with it over the weekend while I get better. Then, when I'm over this cold, I'll convert 2.15 to the v2.16 Public Version early next week.
It just didn't make sense to release a public version when I'm sick...that's just asking for trouble. And some people need v2.15 to test stuff anyway, especially with the fix to the string list crashes.
And besides...we all know that public versions need even version numbers ;)
Stay tuned. I don't know when I'll release 2.15 today. It depends upon how much I think I can get done before I get stupid. |

OK, v2.15 is released.
At this point, please only report critical bugs (in a separate forum topic!). I'll try to keep an eye on the forums for the next couple of days and I'll let you know when I'm feeling better. |

Any chance of 2.16 (or 2.15b so you can keep even numbers for the public release ) this evening for people to play with at the weekend to patch up the memory allocation and stringlist bugs?

Your wish is my command
Yeah, those string list bugs and the problem with not reporting syntax errors and executing scripts anyway were too big to leave for the weekend. So I came in this morning and fixed what I could so that everyone could do more useful testing over the weekend. |
